Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Joseph who lived with his father Jacob and eleven brothers. Joseph's father loved him very much and gave him a special gift—a beautiful coat of many colors. It was bright, vibrant, and different from anything his brothers had.

Joseph was very happy and proud of his colorful coat, but his brothers were not. They became jealous and angry because they thought their father loved Joseph more than them. One night, Joseph had a dream that he shared with his brothers. He dreamed they were all in a field, tying up bundles of grain. Suddenly, Joseph's bundle stood up tall, and all the other bundles gathered around it and bowed down. This dream made his brothers even angrier.

Another time, Joseph dreamed that the sun, moon, and eleven stars bowed down to him. He told this dream to his father and brothers, and this made them upset too. His father scolded him but kept the dreams in mind.

One day, while Joseph's brothers were out in the fields taking care of the sheep, Joseph went to visit them. As he approached, his brothers saw him from afar and plotted to get rid of him. They took his colorful coat, threw Joseph into a deep pit, and sold him to some travelers headed to Egypt.

Joseph's journey was just beginning, but even in difficult times, he remembered his father's love and the dreams that God had given him.
