Once upon a time in a faraway land, there lived a man named Samson. Samson was special because God had given him incredible strength. He could defeat fierce lions with his bare hands and protect his people, the Israelites, from their enemies, the Philistines.

Samson's secret to his strength was his long hair. God told him never to cut it, and as long as he obeyed, he was strong and mighty. But Samson had a weakness—he fell in love with a woman named Delilah.

The Philistines didn't like how strong Samson was, so they went to Delilah and asked her to find out the secret of his strength. They offered her money to help them, and so she agreed.

Delilah asked Samson to tell her the secret of his strength. He tricked her three times with false information, but finally, he told her the truth: "If my hair is cut, I will lose my strength."

While Samson was asleep, Delilah cut his hair. When he woke up, he was no longer strong. The Philistines captured him and put him in prison.

But in prison, Samson's hair began to grow back, and one day, he prayed to God for strength one last time. God listened to Samson’s prayer, and he was able to push down the pillars of the building they were in, saving his people from their enemies.
