“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” - Psalm 139:14
When was the last time you felt truly known?
Not the polished version you show at work.
Not the Sunday smile.
I mean the real you—the doubts, the scars, the quiet dreams you barely say out loud.
Psalm 139 reminds us of something we forget: God already sees all of it.
Every heartbeat. Every thought. Every win and every struggle. Nothing is hidden from Him—and nothing makes Him pull away. He knows you completely and still calls you precious.
To be “fearfully” made means you were crafted with reverence and care. God didn’t rush you into existence. You weren’t mass-produced. You were formed on purpose.
And “wonderfully” made? That means there’s only one you. One voice. One story. One life that sees the world exactly the way you do. No backup copy.
I’ve met a lot of people in uniform, in hospitals, and in hard seasons who forgot their worth. This verse brings us back home.
This world keeps telling us to fix ourselves, improve ourselves, compare ourselves. But God isn’t asking you to become someone else. He’s already delighted in the one He made.
Your worth isn’t up for debate. It’s settled.
Peace comes when you stop striving and start resting in that truth: you are fearfully and wonderfully His.
And that’s enough.
Walk in faith, rest in grace, and trust the One who walks beside you.
In His love and grace,
