Walking with Jesus

“So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” — 1 Corinthians 3:7

There’s something quietly freeing about the words “neither is anything.” Not slightly important. Not mostly responsible. Just nothing. The one who plants. The one who waters. The one who tries so hard to make growth happen. Paul levels the field with one simple truth: only God makes things grow.

Every sprouting seed, every deepening root, every life transformed—none of it hinges on your effort alone. The miracle was never about your performance. It was always about His power. A power that brings beauty from dust, fruit from dry ground, and life from places we once thought were barren.

In a world obsessed with results, this verse invites us into a place of holy surrender. You’re not asked to produce—you’re invited to participate. You don’t carry the pressure—you simply create space for the miracle.

That doesn’t make your role small. It makes it sacred.

You are not the source of life. You are the hands that plant, the heart that waters, and the soul that stands back in quiet wonder as God does what only He can do.

And when the harvest finally comes, it will be more beautiful than you ever imagined—because He grew it.

Walk in faith, rest in grace, and trust the One who walks beside you.

In His love and grace,
