The Book of Proverbs, attributed mainly to King Solomon, is filled with wisdom sayings that offer guidance for righteous living. Proverbs 18 highlights the power of words and wisdom, contrasting the security found in God with the instability of worldly pursuits. Chapter 18 is known for emphasizing the safety and refuge found in the Lord, providing timeless truths applicable to our daily lives.
