From the Frontlines, - “The Evidence of Prayer”
Sometimes the answer to someone’s prayer looks like a guy in a white cowboy hat showing up.
Yesterday I drove 116 miles to pray with someone I had never met.
When I walked into that hospital room, they looked at me with surprise and said they couldn’t believe someone would come that far just to pray with a stranger.
But here’s the truth: I wasn’t there because of me. I was there because God heard their prayers. He sent me as the physical evidence of a spiritual reality—that heaven had already moved on their behalf.
My few hours on the road were nothing compared to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who went all the way to the cross for them, for you, and for me. If He could carry the weight of the world on His shoulders, the least I can do is carry His love down the interstate.
Frontline Ministries exists for moments like this—showing up where the hurting are, bringing prayer into places that feel heavy, and reminding people that they are not forgotten. God still sends His people. God still answers prayer.
And sometimes, He’ll even put a guy in a white cowboy hat behind the wheel to prove it.
