Let us Pray
Let Us Pray
Dear Heavenly Father, You are the wellspring of hope and the giver of every good thing. Your mercies are new each morning, and your love is unfailing. We come before you longing to be shaped by your Spirit and anchored in your truth.
You know how easily our hearts can be pulled in a dozen different directions. Worry creeps in. Old hurts resurface. Comparison steals our joy before we even realize what’s happening. The noise of the world, the rush of our schedules, and the weight of unspoken burdens crowd our souls and dim our vision.
Your Word tells us to guard our hearts, because everything we do flows from them. Lord, teach us to guard them with gentleness and wisdom, to filter every thought and desire through your loving gaze.
Help us to recognize what poisons our spirit and give us the courage to shut the door on it. When anxious thoughts arise, remind us to bring them to You rather than rehearsing them. When frustration builds, turn our complaints into prayers. When bitterness tries to take root, replace it with forgiveness.
Fill our hearts with what is true. With what is pure. With what is life-giving. May our minds dwell on your promises, and may we find strength in your faithfulness with each new dawn.
Let Your Word be louder than the noise. Let Your peace steady what the world tries to shake. Shape our reactions, our decisions, and our words so that what flows from us reflects You. Make us bearers of light in the ordinary moments, and messengers of your compassion to all we meet today.
Tend the spring within us, Lord. Keep it clean. Keep it guarded. Keep it anchored in You. May we become living reflections of your love, overflowing with grace, mercy, and gentleness.
We trust You with the source, knowing everything downstream depends on it.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
