Our Daily Devotion
Our Daily Walking with Jesus Devotion -“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Life has a way of putting us in places we never planned to be—seasons that feel uncertain, heavy, and sometimes just plain overwhelming. A new chapter, a hard decision, or a burden you didn’t see coming can shake even the strongest among us.
That’s exactly where Joshua stood.
And into that moment, God didn’t offer a suggestion—He gave a command: “Be strong and courageous.” Not because Joshua had all the answers, and not because the road would be easy, but because God Himself would be with him every step of the way.
The same is true for you today.
God is not asking you to rely on your own strength. He is calling you to stand firm in His. Courage doesn’t come from having everything figured out—it comes from knowing Who is walking beside you.
So when fear creeps in, when discouragement starts whispering… remember this: you are not walking into that situation alone. The presence of God goes before you, stands beside you, and remains behind you.
Whatever lies ahead today, face it with confidence—not in yourself, but in Him.
Be strong. Be courageous. And keep walking.
