Quote of the Day

Too many of us grow up thinking faith is about performance. We measure our walk with God by what we do—how much we serve, how often we speak, how hard we try to “be useful.” And before long, we’re carrying a weight God never asked us to carry.

This quote flips that thinking on its head.

God never needed our strength—He’s always been after our availability.

The truth is, the most powerful moments in your life won’t come from your effort alone, but from your surrender. When you stop trying to force things, prove things, or earn something, and simply say, “Lord, here I am—use me,” that’s when God begins to work in ways you couldn’t plan or manufacture.

It takes the pressure off.

You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to be the most gifted person in the room. You don’t even have to feel ready. You just have to be willing. God has always taken ordinary, available people and done extraordinary things through them.

That changes how you walk into your day.

You’re not striving to do something for God—you’re stepping into moments where God is already at work, inviting you to be part of it. A conversation. A kind word. A quiet act of obedience. That’s where His power shows up.

So today, don’t try to impress Him.

Just make yourself available—and watch what He does
