Quote of the Day

"I have never been in awe of anything I have done for God, but I live in constant awe of everything He does through me." ~ ray mileur

There have been seasons when I worked hard, planned carefully, and even prayed faithfully—yet still managed to get right in God’s way. I didn’t mean to. I wasn’t trying to take credit or play God. I just started steering instead of following. I’ve learned the hard way that God doesn’t need my hustle as much as He needs my surrender.

The moment I stop trying to control outcomes and start committing the work itself to Him, things change—not always instantly, not always easily, but always purposefully. My job isn’t to impress God with what I can do for Him. My job is to stay humble enough, open enough, and obedient enough to let Him do what only He can do through me.

We see in scripture, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5–6 (ESV).

When I stay out of His way, His way gets a whole lot clearer.

Walk in faith, rest in grace, and trust the One who walks beside you.
In His love and grace,

ray mileur
