Feelings are powerful—but they are not always truthful.

There are days you feel close to God. Days when your faith feels strong, your prayers feel heard, and everything seems steady. But there are also days when you feel distant, uncertain, even forgotten. And if you’re not careful, you’ll start measuring God’s love by how you feel in the moment.

That’s where we get it wrong.

We don't judge the Word of God by our feelings; we judge our feelings by the Word of God.

God’s love is not tied to your emotions. It doesn’t rise when you feel strong or fall when you feel weak. It doesn’t come and go based on your circumstances, your performance, or your state of mind.
It is fixed. It is settled. It is anchored in Christ.

Paul made that clear—nothing in all creation can separate you from the love of God. That includes the quiet doubts you wrestle with, the heaviness you carry, and yes—even the feelings that tell you otherwise.

You may feel far from God, but His love has not moved.
You may feel unworthy, but His love has not changed.
You may feel alone, but His love is still holding you.

The truth is, your feelings will shift—but His love never does.

So today, don’t lean on what you feel. Stand on what you know.

And what you know is this: nothing—not even your feelings—can separate you from the love of God.
