Quote of the Day
No mother regrets the pain once she holds her child. In the middle of labor, the pain can feel overwhelming. It is intense, stretching, and exhausting. But when that child is finally placed in her arms, something remarkable happens—the suffering fades into the background, and joy takes its place.
Jesus used that very picture to describe the sorrow His disciples would face. The pain was real. The tears were real. But the joy that followed would make it worth it.
That is the promise for every believer.
There are seasons when the trial feels like labor—long nights, unanswered questions, burdens that press heavily on your heart. In the moment, it may seem unbearable. But Scripture reminds us that what is ahead far outweighs what we endure now.
One day, resting in God’s arms for eternity, you won’t regret this pain either. The suffering will not define you. The glory will.
Hold steady. The labor is not the end of the story. Life is coming.
