Quote of the Day
Quote of the Day - There is a world of difference between knowing about Jesus and confessing that He is Lord. One informs the mind. The other surrenders the will.
When I say, “Jesus is Lord,” I am stepping down from the throne of my own life. I am admitting that my plans, my instincts, and even my emotions are not the final authority. That confession is not weakness—it is freedom. Self-rule feels strong until it collapses under pressure. His authority, however, is steady, righteous, and eternal.
To confess Jesus as Lord means I no longer define truth by preference. I no longer measure right and wrong by convenience. I no longer make myself the center. Instead, I willingly come under His leadership—trusting His Word over my impulses and His direction over my desires.
This is not a one-time decision. It is a daily posture. Every morning presents the same quiet question: Who will rule today?
When I confess “Jesus is Lord,” I am not losing control—I am placing my life in the hands of the One who conquered death itself. And under His authority, I find something self-rule could never give me: peace.
