Most of the Christian life isn’t lived in big, dramatic moments. It’s lived in ordinary days.

One step. Then another.

We tend to think faith shows up in giant leaps — the big decisions, the mountain-top victories, the stories people write books about. But most of the time, faith is much quieter than that. It’s getting up and praying when you don’t feel like it. It’s trusting God when the answers don’t come. It’s doing the next right thing when the road ahead looks foggy.

Scripture reminds us, “For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Notice it says walk.

Not sprint.
Not leap.
Walk.

God doesn’t usually light up the whole path at once. He gives us just enough light for the next step. And with every step we take, something changes inside us. Our trust deepens. Our roots grow stronger. Our faith gets steadier.

Looking back, you realize those small steps were shaping you all along.

So don’t despise the slow days or the quiet progress. That’s where real faith is forged.

Just keep walking.

Step by step, God will meet you there.
