Ray & Anne's Quote of the Day
Quote of the Day
“Anne and I don’t get up in the morning to do things for God; we get up in the morning to allow God to do things through us.” ~ ray mileur
There’s a world of difference between working for God and walking with Him.
Many believers wake up each day with good intentions: serve more, do better, try harder, fix what’s broken. But if we’re not careful, our service can quietly turn into self-effort. We start measuring faithfulness by activity instead of surrender.
The Christian life was never meant to be powered by human ambition. It is meant to be yielded to divine direction.
When we rise each morning, the question is not, “What can I accomplish for God today?” but “Lord, how would You like to use me?” That shift changes everything. It moves us from striving to trusting, from pressure to peace.
God does not need our strength nearly as much as He desires our availability. He works through yielded hearts, open hands, and willing spirits.
And when He is the One working through us, the burden feels lighter, the fruit lasts longer, and the glory is clearly His.
That is the quiet power of a surrendered life.
The Lord be with you.
