Scripture of the Day
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” - Galatians 5:22–23 (ESV)
Life has a way of drying us out. Long days. Hard conversations. Disappointments that stack up. It doesn’t take much for a heart to feel like cracked ground instead of fertile soil.
Yet this is exactly where the Spirit does His best work.
The fruit Paul lists in Galatians isn’t meant for easy seasons. Love, patience, kindness, and self-control mean the most when life is inconvenient, when people are difficult, and when we’re running on fumes. That’s when the difference between “trying to be nice” and “walking with the Spirit” becomes clear.
Anyone can look good when the sun is shining. But Spirit-grown fruit shows up in the drought.
When you choose peace instead of panic… gentleness instead of sharp words… faithfulness when no one is watching… you become living proof that God is at work inside you.
In a barren world, even one faithful life stands out.
Stay rooted in Christ today. Walk closely with Him. The Holy Spirit will produce what you cannot manufacture.
Walk in faith, rest in grace, and trust the One who walks beside you.
In His love and grace,'
