Thanksgiving Reflection — “Remembering the Goodness of God”
Thanksgiving Reflection — “Remembering the Goodness of God”
Today isn’t just about turkey, family, or football—it’s about resetting our hearts and remembering the goodness of God who never stops giving.
Psalm 100:5 reminds us, “For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.” That one verse is a whole sermon in a single breath. God is good—not sometimes, not only when life feels light, but all the time. His love doesn’t run out, thin out, cool off, or expire. And His faithfulness doesn’t skip a generation. He’s been faithful to our grandparents, He’s faithful to us, and He’ll be faithful to our children long after today’s blessings are forgotten.
Thanksgiving is an invitation to remember. To pause long enough to say, “Lord, You’ve carried me through more than I can count. You’ve given more than I deserve. And even in the seasons I didn’t understand, You never stopped being good.”
May today draw your heart back to that truth—He is good, His love endures, and His faithfulness reaches farther than your eyes can see. And for that, we give thanks.
