Walking with Jesus - Before the Storm
Ray's Quote of the Day - We often think victory is determined in the heat of the moment—when the pressure is on and the battle is directly before us. But our response in those moments is usually formed long before they arrive.
“The battle isn’t won in the moment of crisis—it’s won in the quiet moments of prayer, when you choose to look up and trust God before the storm ever comes.” - ray mileur
Spiritual strength is formed in the early mornings and quiet moments—when we choose prayer over worry, look to God rather than looking around, and place our trust in Him before the storm appears on the horizon.
Those moments may not seem dramatic, but they prepare our hearts for what lies ahead.
When we have spent time with the Lord and anchored our hearts in His Word, we do not have to scramble for faith when trouble comes. We may still be shaken, but we know where to stand. We may not know what will happen, but we know the One in whom we have trusted.
The battle may come suddenly, but our response need not be formed in haste.
A life rooted in prayer is not merely reactive—it is prepared.
So do not wait for the storm before seeking God. Meet with Him now, in the quiet. Lay everything before Him and trust Him ahead of time.
The victory belongs to the Lord. Our part is to remain prayerful, faithful, and ready before the battle ever begins.
The Lord be with you.
In His love
