For the second time in this great nation's history, a shot was fired that was heard around the world. The first time was at Lexington and Concord in 1776, when the bloodshed birthed a nation. The second instance on September 10, 2025, at the campus of the Utah Valley University, where the bloodshed of one man, meant to silence a voice in the wilderness only succeeded in awakening a sleeping giant from its slumber of apathy and silence.When I think of the death of Charlie Kirk, I am reminded of the Word, John 12:24, from: "I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives".&nbsp;Charlie Kirk was extraordinarily gifted by God. A once-in-a-generation mind, his life cut short by an assassin’s bullet. He may be gone, but the mission Charlie poured himself into is not finished.The fight for faith and freedom still lives on. And now it is our turn—yours and mine—to carry that torch forward. To live with that same courage, that same faith. To keep pointing this generation back to what matters most, our faith in God.Charlie Kirk loved and trusted in Jesus Christ. He knew who his Savior was and wanted to be remembered, in his own words, “for the courage of his faith.” This was the legacy he aimed to leave behind: a faith that endures, a faith that stands strong even in the fire.History shows us that no amount of human effort, political debate, or cultural shift—whether left or right—can heal a broken heart or restore peace to a divided nation. Are you suffering from spiritual dehydration?&nbsp; Spiritual dehydration refers to a state of spiritual dryness characterized by a lack of connection to God. This condition often manifests as spiritual apathy, a diminished sense of joy and inspiration, and an increased susceptibility to negative emotions such as fear, anger, and anxiety.In the mission field, I often work long hours: sixteen hours on Sunday, fourteen hours on Monday, and another ten yesterday. To prevent becoming weak and ineffective, and to avoid the risks of spiritual dehydration, I am reminded by the Holy Spirit, of the Word where Jesus says, "Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." — Jesus, John 4:14Every morning, morning I fill my cup with:1. A cup of prayer 2. Report for Isaiah 11:2–3 (ESV) Spirit-Anointed Wisdom for Daily DecisionsREAD “And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear,” Isaiah 11:2–3 (ESV)Isaiah, a prophet in the 8th century BC, spoke to Judah during political turmoil and spiritual drift. Isaiah 11 promises a coming King from “the stump of Jesse” (David’s line) who would rule with perfect justice and usher in peace. For us, this matters because it shows God’s answer to broken leadership, confusion, and injustice: a Spirit-filled King whose wisdom is available to His people.
