Each step grows heavier. Each mile seems longer than the one before. Each moment tests our resolve.Yet it is often in these seasons of persistent struggle that God does some of His deepest work in us. Perseverance turns weary footsteps into sacred ground. What feels like delay may actually be preparation. What feels like silence may be God strengthening our roots beneath the surface.God’s timing is never hurried, and it is never late. He knows the exact season when the harvest will come. Even when the fruit of our labor seems distant, we are called to keep sowing seeds of kindness, compassion, obedience, prayer, and faith into the lives of others.Do not stop doing good simply because you cannot yet see the results. The Lord sees every act of faithfulness. He knows every prayer whispered through tears, every burden carried quietly, every step taken when quitting would have been easier.The One who called you to this journey will bring the harvest in His perfect time. So keep walking. Keep trusting. Keep sowing. It means staying close, drawing strength each day from the living presence of Jesus. Just as a branch receives life and nourishment from the vine, we receive everything we need from Christ.Fruit does not grow by human effort, religious strain, or spiritual performance. Fruit grows from connection. A healthy branch does not struggle to produce fruit; it simply remains attached to the vine. In the same way, when we remain close to Jesus, His life flows through us, and in His time, fruit begins to appear.The danger comes when we begin leaning on our own limited strength. We may still look busy, active, and productive on the outside, but inwardly we can begin to dry up. Without the life of Christ flowing through us, our work becomes weary, our faith becomes strained, and our spirit begins to lose its strength.So stay close to the Vine. Remain in His Word. Remain in prayer. Remain in obedience. Remain in His grace. His life-giving presence will sustain you, strengthen you, and produce fruit that lasts.You do not have to force the fruit. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” - 2 Corinthians 5:17Walking with Jesus means learning to leave the old behind.That is not always easy. We often cling to what is familiar, even when it is heavy. We carry old regrets, old failures, old wounds, old labels, and old ways of thinking as if they still have the right to define us. But the Word of God tells us something far greater: in Christ, we are made new.Jesus did not come simply to polish the outside of our lives. He came to transform us from the inside out. He takes guilt and replaces it with grace. He takes shame and gives freedom. He takes despair and fills us with hope. He takes the broken pieces of our past and reminds us that they no longer have the final word.We do not have to erase our past or pretend it never happened. Some of those experiences helped shape us. Some taught us hard lessons. Some left scars. But in Christ, we no longer have to live as prisoners of those old chapters.The old has passed away. The new has come.That means we can stop walking under yesterday’s condemnation and start walking in today’s grace.
