Yet, while God is sovereign and can work as He wills, it is essential that we remain discerning and grounded in genuine wisdom. The allure of fresh revelation sometimes draws people away from the rich depths of Scripture, tempting them to seek quick fixes or special insights rather than the steady nourishment of God’s Word. But without fail, those are the days when I feel scattered, irritable, and drained before noon. The difference is striking when I make time for Scripture.
