“God Doesn’t Grant Exceptions”There’s a dangerous idea floating around in the modern church: If I’m successful, God must be pleased with me.Crowds… money… influence… platforms… and suddenly a person starts to think they’re the exception, as if God hands out waivers to the chosen frozen.But Scripture paints a different picture. Remember Paul’s words in Galatians 1:10 (ESV):“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”Paul draws a line in the sand: Approval from people is not the same as approval from God. Success is not the same as faithfulness. Popularity is not the same as obedience.Some of the biggest false prophets in Israel’s history had the biggest followings. They were celebrated, influential, admired… and wrong. Success did not make them true. Applause did not make them anointed.Here’s the truth we all need to settle deep in our bones:God does not hand out waivers, so that you can ignore the Word. He does not issue exceptions, so that you can twist Scriptures. And the Word of God cannot mean something today that it never meant yesterday.Success may comfort the conscience, but it does not confirm the calling.And for those of us just trying to walk steady — no spotlight, no fanfare, - just simple obedience, take heart:God honors faithfulness, not fame. Truth over trends. Obedience over outcomes.What God said in the beginning, is still what He means today, and it will still be what He means tomorrow.Hold steady, my friend, because the measure has never changed.Having financial success, doen't make a false prophet, being any less than one, only well funded.

"Being of One Spirit With God… Doesn’t Make Us Gods"&nbsp; There’s a beautiful truth in 1 Corinthians 6:17: “But whoever is united with the Lord is one spirit with Him.”That’s a breathtaking picture of what happens when Christ saves us—we are spiritually joined to Him. His life animates ours. His Spirit testifies with our spirit. His presence shapes us from the inside out.But let’s be crystal clear: - This unity does not make us divine. - Being united with God is not the same as becoming God.Sadly, this passage is often stretched far beyond its intent. Some false teachers have used it to claim that Christians are “little gods,” or that we share “the same DNA as Jesus.” That might sound impressive from a stage, but it isn’t what Scripture teaches.Paul wasn’t writing about humans becoming divine—he was addressing something very different. In the context of 1 Corinthians 6, he was reminding the church that Jews and Gentiles alike are brought together in one Spirit, belonging to one Body, under one Lord.Unity with Christ does not equal equality to Christ.And this is where the role of the Holy Spirit shines so brightly. - The Spirit convicts us of sin. - The Spirit comforts us. - The Spirit intercedes when we don’t even know what to pray. - The Spirit equips us with gifts for the work of the Kingdom.The Spirit places us in the Body of Christ exactly where God wants us.
